Latticework
An open geometric grid, couched at every crossing — precision made visible.
02 — The Story
03 — Macro Study
Read as museum plates — the stitch at the scale of the hand that made it.
Plate i — Thread Direction & Density
Threads cross at a consistent diagonal, over and under in sequence, building an even lattice that holds its geometry however the form curves.
Plate ii — Surface, Layering & Light
Where each crossing sits slightly proud of the cloth, the lattice throws small, regular shadows that give the flat surface real texture.
04 — Crafted Into
Where this technique lives in the collection.
Structure, held with care, is its own ornament.
