Pixel Cross Stitch

Pixel Cross Stitch takes the counted cross down to the scale of a single pixel. Whole motifs resolve out of the grid like an image drawn in thread, each tiny cross a point of colour in a larger picture. At this scale there is no room for approximation — the design is planned point by point before a single stitch is made. It is the meeting of ancient counting and modern image.
